So you’ve never used a sling before, but you’re thinking it might be handy on holiday. You’re right! Here are some great reasons to bring a sling on your holiday.
1. Babywearing feels like home
Holidays can be confusing for little ones – being close to their parent makes being in a new environment easier.
2. You can be hands free in the airport to manage older ones – or push them in a buggy if needs be!
Our 4 year old needs jailing in a buggy in certain circumstances. It’s also handy to only need a simple single umbrella stroller on holiday, rather than a double, when you’ve two smallies.
3. Wherever, whenever naps
I climbed to a hilltop fortress while she snoozed.
4. Feeding on the go
You can’t do this in a buggy. Well, not discreetly anyway!
We all love those quaint hilltop villages and towns? Your buggy – not so much.
Sand and buggies are not friends. And you can’t climb a giant dune with a buggy!
The hills are alive…..
And no buggy is making it up here!
8. Castles / ruins / *insert buggy unfriendly historical site here*
Those Romans just didn’t consider our 21st century needs.
Holiday babywearing makes sense! It makes life easier and you can get places you never would with a buggy.
